Geodetic Parameter Dataset
The EPSG Geodetic Parameter Dataset is a structured dataset of Coordinate Reference Systems and Coordinate Transformations, accessible through this online registry (www.epsg-registry.org) or, as downloadable zip files, through IOGP's EPSG home page at www.epsg.org. The geographic coverage of the data is worldwide, but it is stressed that the dataset does not and cannot record all possible geodetic parameters in use around the world.

Oceans 3.0
Oceans 3.0 is Ocean Networks Canada's data management and repository system.
The Nortek Aquadopp Current Meter A2L2560 (AQD 2811) was deployed on 2012-06-19 at Endeavour North. This north section of the Endeavour Hydrothermal Vents includes two moorings to monitor the regional circulation. This device is a Current Meter. Acoustic Current Meters (ACM) measure current speed and direction, using the Doppler Effect. Aquadopp current meters have a sensor head that contains 3 acoustic transducers, a tilt sensor, a temperature sensor and a pressure sensor. The instrument transmits a short pulse of sound, and then listens to its echo to measure the change in pitch or frequency. The change in pitch can determine the velocity of the current. It was deployed on a fixed platform. Data from this deployment were archived and made available through Ocean Networks Canada's Oceans 3.0 digital infrastructure, with quality assurance and derived data products following established practices.

Nortek Aquadopp 3000 3D Doppler current meter
The Nortek Aquadopp 3000 is a single-depth doppler current meter designed for deployment in intermediate water depths down to 3000 m. It is suitable for use on moorings or fixed structures. It features higher power and an increased signal-to-noise ratio compared with the standard (300 m depth rated) Aquadopp so that it can provide accurate current measurements in water with low concentrations of suspended particulate matter. Current velocity is derived from the Doppler shift measured by two or three 2MHz acoustic beams. It comes with compass, tilt, pressure and temperature sensors. Data are stored on an internal data logger. It can be run in 'diagnostic' mode when set to collect data at 1 Hz frequency in user specified intervals, which allows studies of mooring motion and the performance of other current meters to be conducted.
